Our mission at Growing Confident Minds Ipswich is to establish a supportive learning environment that provides engaging learning experiences with a focus on building social connections, self-worth, and confident learners. Building a community where students are taught to socially connect with others while valuing their own unique sense of self is our main priority. Creating curious, engaged learners who flourish within the classroom and beyond is what we strive to achieve.

I am an Early Childhood Teacher with over 14 years experience teaching within Queensland in a variety of different school settings. I have a strong passion for creating a safe, happy and engaging learning environment that ignites students’ love of learning. I encompass the belief that educating the whole child creates a happier and successful learner. I have a passion for developing positive relationships with all my students to help them understand the valued role they play within their learning. I believe in supporting the development of the whole child, completing my Kids Yoga Teacher Training to empower healthy bodies and minds.

I am interested in working with students who have dyslexia, trauma and neurodivergent clients. Throughout my teaching career, I have supported a diverse range of students and believe all learners deserve the right to thrive and reach their full potential. I have completed a specialised MSL Dyslexia course through The Institute for Multisensory Structured Language Education and completed a course in Neuro-Affirming Social Skills with AUsome Training. I am currently completing a Master of Disability Practice and Leadership - Developmental Educator through Flinders University to further build my skills in this area.
